Peer to Peer Functionality
Every Rajant BreadCrumb can hold multiple simultaneous connections, over multiple frequencies, with other nodes in the mesh, eliminating the need for a controller node while adding network reliability.
Self Optimizing and Healing
Rajant’s proprietary protocol, InstaMesh, enables the nodes to adapt in real-time to quickly or constantly moving network elements. No connections have to be broken for new ones to be made, providing resilient mobility.
Seamless Scalability
If new BreadCrumbs are added to a network, they automatically begin meshing with neighbouring nodes, further strengthening the network and increasing capacity by providing additional paths to send traffic.

The Rajant Sparrow is an IP67 Kinetic Mesh® network device for industrial IoT applications and light-duty vehicles.
The Rajant Sparrow is an IP67 Kinetic Mesh network device intended for harsh environments, from heavy-duty machinery to light-duty vehicle applications. The Sparrow is ideal for non-autonomous tele-remote construction and mining applications. This portable mesh network node contains two transceivers with up to four external antenna ports. It provides Ethernet and Wi-Fi access point interfaces to enable data, voice, and low-bandwidth video applications with multiple mounting options. Housed in an environmentally robust metal case, the Sparrow provides operational ruggedness, outstanding shock and vibration characteristics, and a wide-range temperature rating.

Dual 2×2 MIMO radio: One 2.4 GHz transceiver (300 Mbps signalling rate; DSS, CCK, and OFDM) plus one 5 GHz transceiver (866 Mbps signalling rate; OFDM with 256QAM; up to 80MHz channel bw; U-NII-1, 2A, 2C) OR two 5 GHz transceivers (866 Mbps signalling rate; OFDM with 256QAM; up to 80MHz channel bw; U-NII-1, 2A, 2C and 3 (5.15 to 5.85GHz).
